[SPEAKEASY series] (latest: vol.12 2022/11/11)
is a 47-minute experimental online free-writing session by butter*rabbit*press that takes place every NEW & FULL MOON (i.e. every other week)
featuring an original experimental writing prompt each session inspired by a creative master piece.
Challenging the definition of writing, exploring “writing act”(as in speech act), its alternative (infra)structure and logic.
As suggested by its name, SPEAKEASY offers a brief secrete escape from the dull quotidian through the mode of guided free-writing
(as in guided meditation) to creative minds around the world. We gather in this dark space of ZOOM,
in a soft rinse of music, play “word games” like the children around a bonfire.
